Collection: W. Hoffmann Pianos

W. Hoffmann pianos, founded in 1893 in Berlin, have a long-standing tradition in the piano manufacturing industry. Known for their robust construction and beautiful sound, these pianos were initially created by skilled artisans with a deep commitment to quality. In 1986, the renowned Bechstein Pianoforte Fabrik acquired the Hoffmann name and rights, continuing the brand's legacy. Today, W. Hoffmann pianos are designed by C. Bechstein and built at the C. Bechstein Europe factory in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. This integration with Bechstein has allowed W. Hoffmann pianos to maintain their high standards while being accessible at a more modest price point compared to their German counterparts. Celebrated for their excellent tonal quality, W. Hoffmann pianos remain a preferred choice among both professional musicians and piano enthusiasts worldwide.

Note: Not all pianos labeled ‘Hoffman’ or ‘Hoffmann’ are related to W. Hoffmann. There were multiple manufacturers—especially in the United States and Europe—using similar names, and many are not connected to the Berlin-based W. Hoffmann or the modern Bechstein line.

"I absolutely LOVE my grand piano. Brigham and his sons personally delivered the piano. They gave me a very good trade in on my piano so I could upgrade. I love working with this locally owned family business. They are salt of the earth people and Brigham knows his stuff." —Celia B.
