Behr Bros Pianos, established in 1881 by Henry and Edward Behr in New York City, quickly gained acclaim for their exceptional craftsmanship and intricate designs. Known for their superior build quality, these pianos were praised by renowned musicians like Edottard Remenyi and Moritz Moszkowski, cementing their place among the finest instruments of their time. Behr Bros produced both grand and upright pianos, as well as player pianos, all distinguished by their beautiful tone and labor-intensive construction. The company's legacy is further highlighted by their use of high-quality materials, including imported Honduran Mahogany for the cabinetry. Behr Bros continued producing pianos until 1910 when Kohler and Campbell acquired the company.
