Decker Bros. Pianos were produced by the Decker Brothers Company, founded by David and John Decker in New York in 1862. The company quickly gained a reputation for high-quality craftsmanship and innovation, particularly known for their patented actions and superior tone quality. Decker Bros. pianos were celebrated for their rich, resonant sound and durable construction, which made them a favorite among musicians and institutions during their production years. The company was particularly innovative, introducing features such as their patented "Full Iron Plate" and advanced action mechanisms, which contributed to their excellent performance and longevity.
