Bent's Crown pianos became well-known for features like the "Orchestral Attachment" and "Practice Clavier," which were operated by extra foot pedals and added versatility to the instrument. Additionally, Crown produced a successful line of player pianos under the “Combinola” brand name.

Crown pianos were initially sold and distributed by Sears, Roebuck & Company, reflecting their widespread popularity. However, the production of these pianos ceased around 1929 due to the impact of the Great Depression, though the brand continued to be produced until the late 1940s. Today, Crown pianos are considered rare and collectible, valued for their historical significance and unique features​.
