Bond Piano Co. Pianos

Bond Piano Company pianos, produced by the Packard Piano Company, were introduced in the early 20th century as a more economical line of high-quality pianos. Founded by Isaac Terrell Packard in 1871 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the company initially made organs before transitioning to pianos around 1907. Packard's reputation for using fine woods and elegant cabinet designs was carried over to the Bond pianos, making them a popular choice for consumers seeking affordability without compromising on quality. These pianos were known for their durable construction and the unique ability to be played either manually or through a foot-pedal-operated player mechanism, which played pre-programmed music rolls. The Packard factory closed in 1930, but the Bond name continued to be associated with quality pianos for many years​.
